Swiss Lessons is the second book in the “Teaching and Research in Architecture” series that each year presents the 2-semester-­work of the architecture master course of Harry Gugger at the EPFL in Lausanne. The three-part structure of Swiss Lessons allowed for three different layouts that consist of : Maps and graphics conceived and designed especially for this book visualize part one [Analysis], photographs document the field trip in part two [Trip], and numerous plans and images show the 10 architectural projects in part three [Projects]. Also included are: A folded map of Switzerland that functions as a dust jacket, a cutout index at the top of the book and a fold-out map in the middle of the book.
